Shilen Patel joined the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce of Tampa, Florida in 2002.  He is presently Chair of the Sponsorship Committee.

Patel is President of Visionary Medical Systems, Inc., a leader in Practice Management and Electronic Health Records Software, located in Tampa, Florida. 

In his three years with Visionary Medical Systems, Patel has overseen growth in excess of 300 percent, including the development of spin-off companies such as Visionary Scribe and Visionary RCM.  Patel is also a Director of Central Bank, a community bank in New Tampa, and is involved in multiple residential and hotel real estate ventures in the state of Florida.
