Samant Sharma is President of the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce of Tampa, Florida.   He is assisted by an Executive Committee made up of 16 members serving in varying capacities, with a common goal toward promoting and integrating businesses in the Tampa Bay area. 

Additionally, Sharma serves as a Committee Chair member of the Asian-American Chambers of Commerce (AACC), comprised of the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay, the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay, and other business professionals of Asian descent.  His aim in liaising with the AACC is to cultivate the success of the Asian-American business community in Tampa Bay.

As Assistant Vice-President and Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., Clearwater, Florida, Sharma’s focus is to provide his clients with a continuous stream of income, while protecting their wealth from unnecessary exposure to income, estate, as well as capital gains taxes.  His clientele include high-net-worth individuals, business owners, successful professionals, and people planning for retirement.  Having begun his career in 1999, Sharma continues to build his practice through outstanding service and a reputation for professionalism and integrity.    

Sharma attended the University of Nebraska as a pre-med student, graduating with a dual degree, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.  He subsequently attained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation through the University of Boston, a designation awarded to a select group of planners classified as having met rigorous education, examination, and experience and ethics requirements.  Exemplary to his management background, Sharma earned the Executive Certificate in International Management from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management, Glendale, Arizona.
