Lakshmi Sastry is a member of the Special Events Committee of the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce.  She has been a member of the Chamber since 2005.  

Sastri is the Director of Ritti Couture Living Style, Inc. of Tampa, a company specializing in interior design and professional event planning.  Demonstrating her passion for the arts, Sastri has served as Chair of events for several organizations, including FAPI, FIA and the Savita Society. 

As an avid supporter of the Chinmaya Mission for over 10 years, Sastry continues to teach Bala Vihar, a program aimed at instilling culture and values among children of Indian origin.  

Sastri holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Madras in Madras, India and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.
