Dilip Patel is a business and immigration lawyer. He founded Dilip Patel, P.A. Attorneys at Law in 2003. Dilip has extensive international experience in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions and all aspects of immigration law. He is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Florida Bar. Dilip has achieved Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards.  He is also listed in  "The Best Lawyers in America" for immigration law. Prior to starting the firm, Dilip served as General Counsel for an international IT services and outsourcing company.  He oversaw the company's initial and secondary public offerings and listing on NASDAQ.  Dilip also managed all legal aspects of many national and international mergers and acquisitions. Dilip began his legal career as a solicitor in England, having received his law degree in 1980 from The London School of Economics at the University of London. He moved to the U.S. in the late 1980s and received his J.D. Degree with high honors from the Florida State University College of Law in 1990. From 1990 to 1996, Dilip was an attorney with the Tampa law firm of Fowler, White, where he focused on international business transactions and immigration. Dilip is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (Chairman of the Central Florida Chapter), the American Bar Association, as well as several civic organizations. He served as Chair of the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay in 2005 and now serves on the Board of Directors. Dilip has written and presented extensively on the topic of immigration, corporate and employment law.
