Amol started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP as a staff auditor and later worked with a well- known Tampa Bay CPA firm as tax and business consultant.
Throughout his professional career, Amol has advised clients ranging from small businesses to large corporations and provided sophisticated tax and advisory services. Amol has developed a significant niche in the healthcare space and has served over 500 physician clients in the Tampa Bay area. He has authored a handbook (Navigating the Business of Medicine) for medical residents and physicians who wish to start their own private practice.
In Amol’s words, “a CPA must look beyond the tax returns”. Most of Amol’s clients compose of highly successful entrepreneurs and professionals who need “hands-on” help and advice in setting up and operating their businesses. Amol views the role of a CPA as a trusted advisor that helps business owners make timely and effective decisions that add value.
This novel approach was appreciated and featured in CPA Today magazine who named Amol as the new generation of CPAs who are changing and shaping the profession. Amol has delivered lectures at USF classrooms discussing this new important role of the CPA profession. In 2008, the USF School of Accountancy awarded two $ 1000 scholarships in Amol’s name for students who excelled in accounting.
